Annual Holiday experience won't be complete without visiting any New York holiday markets. Union Square is one of the listed top holiday markets in US. There are obviously stalls that sell holiday items but what interesting are those small business selling their unique products. We find the item pricing on a high end but they have to cover their rental fees. As usual large number of visitors support more the food vendors. Some thinks that it just a visit the reason that they come here. Likewise! It's the holiday spirit we want to feel in every holiday market visit. Enjoy yours. You still have time.

Crepe Lena Union Station. We each had a grilled chicken crepe. One included avocado, one included spinach. Made in front of you. Quality ingredients. Good flavor.

UrbanSpace in Union Square is a casual food hall with a variety of cuisines. There's a good amount of seating inside (mainly high tops) but we had to fight for a table for our big group of 7. Some vendors were also closed by the time we got there (like the coffee shop), but we were still able to grab some good bites of food and drinks. There's a few stalls for Chinese (dumplings, baos, Hainanese chicken, noodles), Indian, Japanese (sushi), Greek (gyros), tacos & burritos, sandwiches and smoothies. Apparently, there's even a beer garden outside! Overall, solid spot if you are with a group who can't decide on what to eat.

Ordered bob white chicken tenders and enjoyed a few glasses of Pinot noir. Great space, ambience and service. Will Have to try the outdoor beer garden soon.

An indoor food court for the uninitiated, where you can grab cuisines in all varieties from local businesses and get far better quality than the surrounding fast food gut bombs. Vegan & Gluten-Free options available in different cuisines, so if you're trying to make a group of friends happy, choose the food hall route and let them order at different counters but sit down at the same table together. This one has a little bonus of a hidden outdoor beer garden in the back for extra seating with some fresh air. the absolute best Singaporean chicken rice I've had in New York. Chicken was tender but not dry and the SAUCES (mainly the chilli) was absolutely delicious and tasted identical. They have a solid student deal on the weekdays too!

I visited this food hall with my friends last month. It was my first time and was curious since they were all interested in checking it out. The food hall has a simple design. They made good use of space by highlighting the eateries inside and provided seating area for patrons as well. We bought food from Lou Yau Kee Chinese stall. We read about the owner and the chicken dishes he makes and wanted to try them. The service was good and we got our food relatively quickly. I wouldn't mind visiting this food stall again to check out the other eateries.

Was looking for a Bobwhite Counter location and was surprised that it was in this food hall. The place is spacious, with high ceilings; a few high tables for at least 8people, some counter seating by the large open window facing 14th St and some outdoors in the back. Friendly staff. Bobwhite chicken is good although spicy chicken sandwich was a bit too spicy for me. Fresh lemonade around $4.50. Tenders combo around $12. Min Sushi's tuna tartare bento box was a great choice for $14. But they changed the sides; preferred the first time. Will not order Pork katsu don again $12. Katsu didn't seem freshly-fried (didn't notice a fryer), and was on the chewy and dry side. Got sodas at the Yeero place $2. Will try their food next time. Some places offer student discounts.

Yet another Urbanspace, this time in another prime location right off Union Square, with the typical lineup of not particularly interesting vendors, but a few great standouts. Today I tried Kid Brother Pizza Bar, which turned out to be exceptionally good pizza, especially for a food hall. It's a pretty small round pie cut into 8 really little slices, that are very easy to eat quickly before you realize the pie is gone. We also tried Bobwhite, which continues to be a shell of its former self.
